Custom made buffet units for a Hamilton restaurant.
A series of six custom buffet units were manufactured to support the hospitality space while creating a consistent visual connection throughout the interior. Although each unit was developed in a different size and configuration to suit its specific location and function, all share common design elements that help bring cohesion to the wider fit-out.
Finished in Resene “Volcano”, the units provide a bold contrast against the natural timber finishes used elsewhere in the project. A key feature of the design is the use of curved ends, softening the overall appearance of the joinery and echoing the rounded forms incorporated throughout the venue.
The finished result is a collection of distinctive yet connected buffet stations that enhance both the function and visual identity of the hospitality environment.
