Hamilton Hotel Bistro Bar

Designed to complement the neighbouring Public bar while establishing its own identity, this custom hospitality counter showcases a more contemporary interpretation of the shared material palette. Prime Veneer American White Oak Toitū was selected throughout, paired with solid American White Oak trim to deliver warmth, durability, and a premium finish.

Unlike its counterpart, this bar features clean flat-panel fronts accented with galvanised metal rails, creating a modern industrial aesthetic that contrasts with the natural timber surfaces. The benchtop combines stainless steel preparation areas with solid timber sections, providing a practical workspace without compromising on design.

Custom overhead shelving was designed to match the curves of the counter top. Black aluminium toe kicks provide durability and help visually anchor the joinery within the wider interior.

Together with the surrounding custom buffet units, the bar contributes to a cohesive hospitality fit-out that balances contemporary detailing, natural materials, and commercial performance.
