The brief for this kitchen was to use as much of the original kitchen as possible whilst giving it a facelift into modern day. The original cabinetry doors were kept the kitchen island was extend to allow space for a bar stools and a breakfast bar. The over cupboards were made out of timber veneer to compliment the oak flooring and a bulk head was added above the cupboards – a modern-day element making the cabinetry seamless with the ceiling and giving a sense of a larger space. White engineered stone benchtops and white tiles were used to ensure the kitchen was as light and fresh as the rest of the home.
