Custom Made Park Bench Seat - Hamilton
Located on Victoria Street in the heart of Hamilton City, this custom park bench was built to provide a durable, attractive public seating space that complements the surrounding urban environment.
Crafted from Purpleheart timber, the bench seat showcases the timber’s rich natural colouring and exceptional durability, making it well suited to New Zealand’s outdoor conditions. This seat creates a functional gathering space around the feature tree, encouraging people to stop, relax, and enjoy the city centre.
Manufactured by Montage, the project highlights the versatility of custom timber joinery in public spaces, combining robust construction with a clean, contemporary look that enhances the streetscape while providing long-lasting community seating.
