Kitchen, custom bench seat/storage, vanity & laundry
An architecturally designed home at the Hamilton Lake, Montage were privileged to be apart of this project. The large adjoining bench seat link the dining the room into the kitchen incorporates servo-drive draws for that extra, and hidden, storage. A couple points of difference for this home’s kitchen is the black toe-kicks making the kitchen pop as well as the frosted slider doors in the scullery – a modern and industrial take on a pantry. Translucent enough to add that industrial element and keep it light whilst balancing the discreteness so you can’t see what snacks are behind the doors. The monochrome theme was continued into the laundry where a drying rack was also included instead of having all over cupboards – something we are seeing more of in new laundry’s for drying those delicate clothing items indoors.
